It can become the lens through which we see the world, and sometimes it feels like trauma defines every part of who we are. But what if I told you that you are not your trauma? You are so much more than what you've been through. And that’s exactly what we’re going to explore this season.
If you’ve ever felt like your life has been shaped by trauma, you’re not alone. It’s easy to fall into a pattern of just surviving—getting through the day, putting one foot in front of the other, reacting to the next emotional trigger that comes your way. But, Mama, what if there’s more? What if you could rediscover the version of you that got lost along the way?
Trauma can make us forget who we are. It pulls us into survival mode, where our focus is solely on reacting, protecting, and coping. In that space, it's hard to remember what joy feels like, or what it means to dream, to create, and to simply be. But the truth is, you are not just your trauma. You are a complex, beautiful, and multifaceted human being with dreams, desires, and an identity that’s so much bigger than the pain you’ve experienced.
This season, we’re going to focus on rediscovering you—the version of you that might have been buried under layers of pain, self-doubt, and survival mechanisms. The you that’s creative, passionate, joyful, and full of life. The you that deserves to thrive, not just survive.
Going deeper this season means we’re not just skimming the surface of healing anymore. We’re diving into the hard questions and exploring the deeper work that leads to lasting change. I’m talking about healing your inner child, reclaiming your identity beyond the trauma, rewiring the stories you tell yourself, and building relationships that reflect your true worth.
We’ll also be hearing from some incredible guests—mamas, experts, and cycle-breakers who have walked this journey themselves. They’ll share their wisdom, insights, and encouragement with you, giving you the support and inspiration you need as you take your next steps on the healing path.
In this first episode of the season, I shared a personal story about my own journey of healing and growth. For years, I followed the rules of what I thought I “should” be doing, based on what everyone else around me was doing. I feared doing things differently because it meant breaking the rules and, heaven forbid, upsetting someone. As a chronic people-pleaser in recovery, this was a major hurdle for me.
But in trying to please others, I had abandoned myself. My creativity, my joy, my love—they were all pushed aside. It made my life harder, frustrating, and completely out of alignment with who I truly am. It wasn’t until I realized that the work I’m doing here—the podcast, the community, and the coaching—is an expression of my heart, my love for you, my listeners, that I began to change.
When I fully embraced my authenticity, everything shifted. I rediscovered the joy and ease that come from being true to who I am. My creativity was reignited. I stopped caring as much about what others thought and started stepping into the person I was always meant to be.
And, Mama, I want that for you too. I want you to reclaim your identity, step into your authenticity, and find the joy and peace you deserve.
This season is for the version of you that’s ready to step into something more. It’s for the mama who’s tired of just getting through the day and is ready for real transformation. If you’re ready to reconnect with who you truly are and start the deep work of healing, then this season is for you.
So, let’s kick off Season 4 together. Take a deep breath—yes, right now—inhale deeply through your nose, hold it for a moment, and then exhale slowly through your mouth. Feel that? That’s space. Space for you to rediscover yourself. Space for healing. Space for peace.
